Our Philosophy & Founder
Founded by three young architects, Studio ⅝ aims to explore diverse design possibilities, seeking harmony between the client’s needs and aesthetic vision. Our ultimate goal is to create a space that serves both the client and us as designers, achieving a balance that is mutually fulfilling. While the design should be valued by those who experience it, our guiding principle is that it must first and foremost be meaningful for both parties involved. This philosophy is reflected in the name of our studio—5:8, which symbolizes the golden ratio, a natural balance that may not be universally recognized but remains the ideal in its perfection.
